Family Support Network at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities is committed to evaluating the activities and impacts of the Network's programs (including activities of the local affiliates).

Purposes of Evaluation
  • To determine the impact of program activities
  • To provide guidance in strengthening program effectiveness

    • Three major goals of research and evaluation at Family Support Network
  • To learn how we are helping the people we are serving
  • To assess how we can improve our program activities
  • To develop a more rigorous research base for the study of family support, especially in collaboration with
       other community- and university-based organizations concerned with family support in North Carolina
